Es bedürfe noch weiterer Untersuchungen, um festzustellen, welcher Typ Lymphozyten an diesem Geschehen beteiligt sei und wie genau dieses ausgelöst werde, um den Zusammenhang mit der Impfung hieb- und stichfest zu beweisen; die dafür erforderlichen histologischen Untersuchungen nähmen aber noch mindestens ein halbes Jahr in Anspruch. Dennoch seien die bisher vorliegenden Ergebnisse schon wichtig genug, um sie in Form dieser Pressekonferenz vorab bekannt zu machen.

“Uns gehen 90 Prozent durch die Lappen”, meinte er bezüglich der festgestellten Zahl von tödlichen Impfreaktionen. Das sei nicht das Verschulden der Rechtsmediziner und Pathologen, schließlich könne man nur sehen, was man kenne, und histologische Untersuchungen könne die Rechtsmedizin ohnehin nicht vornehmen.
